Pepperoni Bread

Pepperoni Bread

step 1: Use frozen bread dough that you have allowed to thaw in the fridge overnite. let it sit out an hour or 2 before you start cooking, so it will be easier to work with. Stretch the dough out as best you can and lay it on a greased pan.
step 2: Top with sliced pepperoni

Step 3: Top with sausage that you have cooked and sliced

step 4: sprinkle a little garlic salt over top of the whole thing

Step 5: sprinkle with a little parmesan cheese and then put as much mozzerela or provolone on as you can fit without making a huge mess

Step 6: stuff all your filling in good, so you can seal up the sides.

Step 7: bring sides together and pinch to seal. Sometimes the dough can be difficult to work with, but do the best you can.

step 8: once you have it sealed, flip it seam side down on the pan

Step 9: brush with an egg wash( just an egg beaten with a splash of water)

step 10: sprinkle with some seasoning if you like.

Step 11: put in the oven at 350 and cook for 20-30 mins

When you take it out of the oven it should be well browned. There's nothing worse than biting into doughy pepperoni bread!

YUMMY!

  3. I use this dipping seasoning I have that is for dipping bread into. An italian seasoning would work good, not the herb kind, but the kind with garlic and spices in it. You don't have to put anything on top if you don't want to. Try different things till you find one you like.
